In Bauchi State today, youth thuggery popularly known as Sara-Suka has become a forgotten issue. People of Bauchi State now sleep with their two eyes closed.
Through the sheer grace of Allah, Governor Bala Mohammed has eliminated the menace Sara Suka that has became a cankerworm .
Since his assumption of office as Governor, Kauran Bauchi has left no one in doubt about his government's determination to do away with the evil of youth thuggery and banditry. He has succeeded because it is as if the menace has never existed before.
Residents of Bauchi metropolis especially are now sleeping in peace, no more inter-youth clashes that cause mayhem and destruction to innocent ones. The Police Rapid Response Squad headed by the no-nonsense Baba Yola is daily patrolling the city on a 24 hour surveillance which forced the thugs to hide.
The squad is being supported and given the necessary cooperation by the governor and this is responsible for making their job easier .
In order to engage the youths in other positive pursuits, the governor appointed a seasoned politician Honourable Tanko Yusuf Dutse as Executive Chairman of BACYWARD. The Agency is responsible for the training and rehabilitation of youth. As a result, the Agency is now in full swing and very active in discharging its mandate.
The fact is Governor Bala Mohammed has made a history for bringing to an end, the menace of Youth thuggery that has defied solution for years.
