Every Leader and his cabinet are responsible for their actions and inactions. Therefore it is necessary that every Leader makes d necessary calculations and know what actions are necessary or not.
For a leader to carry along everyone in his team, group or organization, he must be able to convince them over every decision he is making. Making a decision alone or carrying along only a segment of those who should all be involved is dangerous.
Except in some few cases, it is always unwise to always make your decision known, especially stakeholders without engaging them in the Decision making process. This will make them feel important and Honored.
People must agitate or Protest to tell the leader that;
1. The organization is not his/her private Business.
2. We're to bear all outcome of the Decision since it involves the organization.
3. We're all entitled to participate in the decision making process.
4. Being a leader doesn't make anyone more knowledgeable than other members.
5. Joint Decision making is beneficial because it makes everyone responsible and gives confidence.
Although I'm not against the decision of the Government, especially the Commissioner of Education but I discovered that
1. Many stakeholders and school administrators were left out of the decision making process.
2. The students were caught unaware and were not Pre-Informed about their fate if they Failed d said Mock Examinations.
3. The teachers and Government has issues to tackle about Teachers' entitlements and the likes.
4. There are a lot of advice neglected by the honourable Commissioner before making such Decision.
5. The Education sector has not received enough attention to the point that this policy should be implemented too soon.
My opinion:
Let's keep hope alive that the government we trusted will not betray our trust. Kauran Bauchi CON is the Governor of the poor masses and by God's grace our expectations won't be cut short.
The opposition party has actually succeeded in making a this situation look like the worst thing that could ever happen in Bauchi. And many people have started forgetting the great Projects going on in the state to make our state great.
